Repairs

 

We specialise in the repair of faulty PA and band equipment.

 

Other than many years experience finding faults and fixing problems, Phil & Lou both have formal qualifications in this area so are able to sort out most defects.

 

We offer the repair of electronic equipment such as:

 

Power Amplifiers

Mixing Desks

PA Heads/Mixer & Amp all in ones

Guitar/Bass/Keyboard Amps and Combos

Crossovers/Effects Units etc

 

 

If you have issues with your speakers then we can easily help you out with this as well.  Most speakers are not ‘fixable’ and it’s usually a case of replacing the offending driver in your cabinets.

 

All items brought to us for repair will be evaluated on arrival and wherever possible a cost for the repair will be agreed before we start work.

 

If the equipment is beyond economic repair i.e. it would be cheaper to purchase new, then we can find you the best price for a replacement.

 

We won’t charge if we can’t fix the problem and should the equipment need to be returned to the manufacturer for repair then we can arrange this for you too.

Don’t wait for your equipment to fail before you get it looked at!

Many faults are caused by overheating due to dust  and are avoidable.

 

If you’ve owned equipment for a while and would like it checked over then bring it to us for a service.

 

 

A service involves:

 

A full clean both inside and out

 

An electrical safety check

 

A complete test to make sure the unit is functioning fully and correctly and that no faults are present.

 

 

Cables

 

Don’t throw away broken cables - have them repaired!

 

Cables usually break at the connector so bring Lou your broken cables, microphone,  instrument or speaker and she will repair them for the bargain price of £2 per cable.

 

This assumes the connectors are in a usable state and not broken themselves, if they are broken replacement connectors are always available.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Moulded connectors are not repairable.
